Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The AI model processes your image locally in your browser — the only network request it makes is to download the segmentation model itself (a one-time, cached download), never your photo.
Do I need to click a button to remove the background?
No — removal starts automatically the moment your photo finishes uploading. The "Remove Background Again" button is only there if you want to reprocess the same photo, for example after switching to a different file.
The edge isn't perfectly clean — what do I do?
Good, even lighting and a subject that stands out clearly from its background give the model the best chance of a clean edge. If a result looks off, try re-uploading a sharper or better-lit version of the photo.
What file formats and sizes are supported?
You can upload JPG, PNG or WEBP images. To keep processing fast and smooth on phones as well as desktops, images are scaled down before removal — plenty for web use, ID photos, and most print and product listing needs.
Can I use the result for a passport or PAN card photo?
